National Museum Tours New Delhi
The Nationwide Collection in Delhi is India's second biggest museum that stores variety of things from the ancient era to the modern day performs of art and lifestyle. The vast Nationwide Collection is being run by the Secretary of state for Culture, and is located at the turn of Janpath and Maulana Azad Road.
Regarded as one of the leading exhibits and museums in Native indian, the Nationwide Collection in New Delhi was officially inaugurated on Fifteenth Aug, 1949 by the Governor-General of Native indian, Shri R.C Rajagopalachari. The museum operated in the Rashtrapati Bhawan during its initial decades before the base of the present developing was set by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the Primary Reverend of Native indian, on Twelfth May, 1955. The new developing was passed over to the Collection government bodies in July 1960 and it officially started out to public on Dec 18, 1960. The museum is now under the management control of the Division of Culture, Secretary of state for Human Resource Development, Government of Native indian.
